We went there at Plano location to have Friday's special, Dalcha and Shami Kabab. Dal cha was amazing but Shami Kababs were fried in old oil. It was too oily and had old oil taste.

We ordered goat dum biryani, red chicken, and chicken seekh kebab. The biryani was too spicy for me personally. If you're someone who loves the spice from whole spices, you'll love it. The red chicken was a pass. The chicken seekh kebab was delicious. It was the perfect amount of spice, with the chatpata powder on top adding the right touch. We also tried their lassi, and I have to say: I don't like lassi, but I loved the one at Deccan Grill. Gulab jamun was okay. The ambiance is family-friendly and a medium-sized restaurants big enough for large groups. They also have outside seating. The service was really well. They asked if we needed anything and fixed whatever we asked them to.

The 3rd Iteration of a long standing Hyderabadi restaurant turned chain, they've taken over an old competitor, gave the location a fresh coat of paint and moved in all the flavors that gave them their support in the first place. That being said, the owner of the chain keeps quality tight. Service here is great, with a large and easy to understand menu plus someone always staffed up front to ensure you're all set. It seems the majority of staff are employed in the back, where they manage to whip up dishes incredibly fast...fast enough to be suspicious. You tell me how long a chicken curry and stir fried chicken dish should take, and I doubt it would be 10 minutes. I love the quick turnaround but I know for sure the food that came out hot wasn't steaming, and the amount of curry didn't match the chicken in there either. It was all very enjoyable food for what it was, but none of what makes these spots truly stand out was there. All in all, if you live nearby and are hungry for a curry, I doubt you'll be mad you came here. But if you're searching the Metroplex for that one great Indian restaurant, this probably isn't it. All that aside, I'd still recommend you try them!
